Templates and Guidelines

Image sizes

To make it easier for you, you can send us your full size images and we will do all the necessary work here and layout your Lightbox before sending you a PDF proof.

The minimum image size for storyboard layouts is 66mm x 46mm at 300dpi or 275mm x 192mm at 72dpi. This is approximately 1.62Mb and most cameras images are suitable unless they have been re-sized or processed in any way. If in doubt please send us the highest images resolution you have which will be the largest image size.

Creating your own layout

If you are planning to create your own layout please follow these guidelines when creating your document. Please create them full size and at 300dpi in Adobe RGB (1998) format.

Please design your layout to match the exact size of your chosen Lightbox. As the frame holds the print it means that there is a visible window smaller than the print size. Anything outside of this window will not be visible. This is shown below.

Printing black

If you are creating your own layout, please create 'complex' black made up of 75% Cyan, 60% Magenta, 60% Yellow and 100% Black. This will produce a better quality black in the final print out.
